A session in a pressurised hard-shell chamber with luxury seating, breathing oxygen through a mask, with a trained operator outside the whole time. Here is the session from check-in to stepping out, and the physics behind it in plain English.

Pressure, plasma, oxygen: how a session works
At sea level the air presses on your body at one atmosphere, written as 1.0 ATA. A hyperbaric chamber raises that pressure. In the Renoo2 chamber it rises to a maximum of 2.0 ATA, the pressure a diver feels 10 metres under water. While the chamber is pressurised you breathe oxygen through a mask, and under pressure more oxygen dissolves into your blood plasma than it can at sea level. That is the whole mechanism, and every part of it is measurable.
Hyperbaric oxygen is an established hospital treatment for a small number of specific conditions. Outside those, it is used as a recovery and wellbeing session, which is what Renoo2 provides. You will see it called hyperbaric oxygen therapy, HBOT, oxygen therapy, or simply a hyperbaric chamber or oxygen chamber session. They all describe the same thing.
Your session, minute by minute
A trained operator supervises every session from start to finish. You sit, breathe and relax while the chamber does the work.

Check in and settle
Check-in opens 10 minutes before your slot. Your operator confirms your screening answers, asks how you are feeling today and runs through the briefing. Clear ears matter, because you equalise as the pressure changes, so a cold or blocked ear on the day simply moves your session to a better one.

Coming up to pressure
The door closes and the chamber pressurises gently over 10 to 15 minutes. You feel it in your ears, like a plane descending, and clear it by swallowing, yawning or gently pinching your nose and blowing. The operator watches through the windows and talks to you over the intercom, and you can pause or stop at any time.

At pressure
Once at depth you put on the oxygen mask and settle in. Watch the screen, read, listen to something or close your eyes. The chamber is air-conditioned and lit, with room to stretch your legs. This is the longest part of the session, around an hour.
Coming back to surface
Decompression is slow and controlled and takes about 10 minutes. Your ears equalise again, usually more easily on the way up. The operator opens the door, you have a moment to stand and stretch, and you are done.
Afterwards
Most people feel relaxed and go straight back to their day. You can drive, train and eat normally. Some people feel pleasantly tired for an hour or so, which is normal. Regulars book the same slot each week so it becomes part of the routine.

The Renoo2 chamber is a hard shell with luxury seating of the type used in professional sport and private clinics, mounted for the road and set up at a host venue in each town. What to wear and bring
- Comfortable clothes in cotton or natural fibres. Gym kit is ideal.
- A book, headphones or a downloaded programme. The operator confirms which electronics come inside under the manufacturer's rules.
- A drink of water for before and after.
- Lighters, matches, hand warmers and vapes stay in the locker, and the day goes best with skin and hair free of oil-based lotions, hair products and make-up.
Screened, safe and professionally run
- Every customer completes a 2-minute suitability screening before their first session. See who it suits.
- The chamber runs to the manufacturer's protocol, including oxygen handling and fire precautions.
- The operator can see you, hear you and bring the chamber back to surface at any point.
- Fixed timetable blocks give training groups, wellness customers and quiet sessions each their own time.
What a Renoo2 session is, and what you get
Hyperbaric oxygen is well established in medicine for conditions such as decompression illness and carbon monoxide poisoning, delivered in hospital chambers under medical direction. Renoo2 sessions sit alongside that world rather than inside it: pressurised oxygen sessions designed to support recovery and wellbeing, for people who are otherwise well or whose clinician supports them attending.
What you get is a genuine hard-shell chamber at 2.0 ATA, a luxury seat, a trained operator, proper screening and a fixed slot, in your own town. If you work with a physiotherapist or a clinician, ask them how a supervised pressurised oxygen session fits your plan. If you have a health condition, your GP's view comes first and we build it into your screening. Every booking is confirmed once we are satisfied the session is right for you.
