What happens

Your session, step by step

A trained operator runs every session from start to finish. You sit, breathe oxygen through a mask and relax while the chamber does the work.

01
On arrival

Arrive and check in

Your screening is already confirmed. Phones and lighters go in a locker, and the operator walks you through the session.

02
Settle in

Take your seat

A luxury seat, a screen, and your own oxygen mask. Choose a film, a podcast or silence.

03
Gently up

Pressurise to 2.0 ATA

The chamber comes up to pressure gently. Your ears feel it the way they do on a plane, and you equalise the same way.

04
At pressure

Breathe

Oxygen by mask at twice normal atmospheric pressure. The operator watches over you through the windows and stays on the intercom.

05
Gently down

Return and step out

A slow, steady return to normal pressure, then you step out and carry on with your day.

The chamber

Why hard‑shell at 2.0 ATA

Renoo2 runs rigid hard-shell chambers at 2.0 ATA, the pressure used in clinical hyperbaric medicine, with a trained operator outside, oxygen delivered by mask and luxury seating with viewing windows.

  • 2.0 ATA working pressure, the level used in established hyperbaric protocols
  • Oxygen by mask, so every breath is high-concentration oxygen
  • Luxury seating with viewing windows, a screen and an intercom to the operator
  • Trained operator present throughout, running the chamber from the console
  • Suitability screening for everyone before their first session

How it works

Pressure, plasma, oxygen: how a session works

Three things happen inside the chamber, and each one is measurable.

01 · Pressure

Twice normal atmospheric pressure

At 2.0 ATA the air pressure around you is double what it is at sea level, the same range used in clinical hyperbaric medicine.

02 · Plasma

More oxygen dissolves into your blood

Under pressure, oxygen dissolves directly into blood plasma as well as binding to red cells, so more of it travels around the body.

03 · Oxygen

Delivered by mask, session after session

You breathe oxygen through a mask for around an hour at pressure. Regulars book the same seat each week so it becomes routine.

What the research says, and what it does not

Standards

Screened, safe and professionally run

Supervised, every session

A trained operator runs the chamber, watches through the windows and talks to you on the intercom throughout.

2-minute screening

Everyone completes a short screening before their first session. Anyone with a health condition brings a GP or specialist letter.

Rigid chamber, clear view

A hard-shell chamber with viewing windows, an intercom and controls outside, so you can see out and be seen at all times.

Gentle pressure changes

Pressurisation and return are slow and steady, and the operator pauses whenever you ask.

Questions

Questions people ask before a first session

What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
Breathing oxygen while sitting in a chamber pressurised above normal atmospheric pressure. Under pressure, more oxygen dissolves into the blood plasma. It is an established hospital treatment for a small number of conditions, and outside those it is used as a recovery and wellbeing session, which is what Renoo2 offers.
How does a Renoo2 session differ from hospital hyperbaric treatment?
Hospitals use hyperbaric oxygen under medical direction for specific conditions. Renoo2 sessions are pressurised oxygen sessions designed to support recovery and wellbeing, for people who are otherwise well or whose clinician supports them attending. Screening before your first session keeps that line clear, and how a session fits your routine is your call, and your clinician's if you have one.
What does 2.0 ATA mean and why does it matter?
ATA is atmospheres absolute. Sea level is 1.0 ATA. The Renoo2 chamber runs at up to 2.0 ATA, the pressure 10 metres under water and the level used in many established hyperbaric protocols.
What does a session feel like?
You take a luxury seat, the chamber pressurises gently, you breathe oxygen through a mask for most of the session, and you return to normal pressure slowly. You feel the pressure change in your ears, like a plane landing, and clear it by swallowing or yawning. Otherwise it feels like sitting in a quiet, air-conditioned cabin.
Who is a session right for?
Most adults, after a 2-minute screening. A few conditions need a letter from a GP or specialist first, such as heart or lung conditions, epilepsy and diabetes. A small number mean a session is best left for now: an untreated collapsed lung, certain chemotherapy medicines, recent ear or sinus surgery, a current ear, sinus or chest infection, a fever, or pregnancy. Sessions are for adults aged 18 and over, and the screening page has the full lists.
How much does it cost?
£95 a session at the standard rate from opening. Book an early access space and your first 4 sessions are only £71.25 each (£285 for 4, 25% off), with the £10 that books your space coming off your first session. A 10-session package brings the standard rate down to £75 a session (£750).
Where is the chamber?
In your town. Renoo2 is a mobile service for towns across the UK, starting with Bolton, Warrington and Southport and Formby in January 2027, each with a host venue and a regular timetable. Carlisle is coming by demand and the next towns are chosen the same way. Type your postcode on the locations page to see your nearest.
